| Welcome To Bali |
Coffee & Copper is located in the quiet Ubud countryside next to the Holy Monkey Forest and near to the middle of what has become the artistic and cultural center of the island. |
Galungan Day is celebrated every Budha Kliwon Dungulan. Galungan Day has a meaning "Pawedalan Jagat" or the earth's celebration. On this day the Hindus thank the God for the creation of the earth and its content. On this day the Hindus feel grateful for His blessings.
Traditional Balinese dances are the oldest form of performing arts in Bali. Traditional dances can be divided into two types, sacred dance called Wali and entertainment dance called Bebalihan. Wali (sacred dance) is usually performed in some ritual ceremonies only because it has strong magical powers and only can be performed by specific dancers. Bebalihan are usually performed in social events. In addition to entertain, Bebalihan also has other purposes such as: welcoming guests, celebration of harvests, or gathering crowds. Bebalihan has more variations than Wali.If you have an interest in spending a day or two enjoying great food, inspired conversations and powerful storytelling situated in one of the most enchanting locations in Indonesia, then there is an event coming up that I think you will enjoy.
With a commitment to taking its guests beyond Bali's glossy holiday scene, the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival will run from October 7-11, 2009. This not-to-be-missed local experience promises an intimate, illuminating (and sometimes controversial) journey that allows the true heart and soul of Bali to unfold.
From glamorous cocktail parties and street parades to literary lunches and poetry readings, some of the finest resorts and restaurants in Ubud are posed to demonstrate their hospitality in hosting this world class event.
As [I/organisation] have a relationship with the promoters of the festival, [I/WE] am able to offer you (and anyone you choose to forward this email to) discounted tickets by simply clicking the link below.
